While I appreciate your kind invitation, I am afraid that it would contravene our policy against accepting free trips, and I regret that I cannot at this time justify a journey of this nature at our own expense.

We will, of course, be covering the President ’ s trip to canada, and I trust that this coverage will allow our readers to learn more about your country.
