Re. : machines for the manufacture of concrete pipes.

From the Federation of Danish Industries we have learned that you are looking for equipment to produce concrete pipes in the Republic of Niger and that therefore you would like to learn which equipment is manufactured in Denmark for this purpose.

Our firm is among others specialized in the manufacture of machines to produce concrete pipes and we have had the pleasure to supply our machines in great quantities to countries all over the world including France, but unfortunately so far not to Niger.

To give you a preliminary information of our machines we are handing you separately covering litterature. In our general leaflet we have stated working procedure of our machines just as we have stated an average capacitiy and advantages in connection with the use of our machines.

Especially we should like to mention that our machines are very simple in construction with very few moving parts and this means that the machines are very reliable in working and they may be operated by unskilled workers. The fact that the machines include very few moving parts also means that the demand for spare parts is reduced to a minimum so that stops in production waiting for spare parts or for exchange of worn parts are very seldom.

A Mould always remains on the machine as long time as pipes of the size and type in question are manufactured and therefore a single mould only is required for each type and size of pipes to be manufactured. As - however - the fresh pipes must cure for about 24 hours before being removed from the pallet rings, a number of rings corresponding to a day’s production must be purchased.

Since the machines do not work fully automatically the capacity is very much influenced by local conditions but the figures stated in our general leaflet are average capacities and some clients even manufacture a larger number of pipes. Separately we are also handing you leaflets covering our 2 most pouplar machines RIMAS type 602 and 306 from which you will learn the set - up of these 2 machines.

From our reference - list you will learn that 4 of our machines are in operation in Ghana, so that your authorities in Niger may have an opportunity to see our machines in a near - by country.

If you will please mention to us the type and the sizes of concrete pipes thet have to be manufactured in Niger we shall be very pleased to hand you quotations covering the equipment required.
